Mandate

Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation (AIOC) is a provincial Crown corporation, which operates at arms-length from the Government of Alberta. It was established in November 2019 under the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation Act.

Our mandate is to facilitate investment by Indigenous groups in natural resource projects and related infrastructure.

Compensation Disclosure

In keeping with Government of Alberta policy and theĀ Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act, AIOC discloses expenses of the AIOC chair, board members, and chief executive officer, and all remuneration, including severance and pension contributions, for its board members and staff whose earnings were more than the compensation threshold.
